From Warwick Davis: The end of an Era – today is officially the last day of principal photography on ‘Harry Potter’ – ever. I feel honoured to be here as the director shouts cut for the very last time. Farewell Harry & Hogwarts, it’s been magic.
After much speculation and anguished searching we can confirm that the Harry Potter movie series is done filming. June 12 2010 was the last day on the set of Harry Potter for everyone involved in this magical life changing experience for us the fans and for them. After more than a decade of spending hours, days and weeks together, the Potter crew are splitting to go their separate ways, theatrically, until they rejoin again to promote the final Potter movies.
Well we agree with Davis… it’s been magic and the Harry Potter movies changed everything. Some of us grew up with these movies and actors and it’s very, very sad and heartbreaking to see that one of the most successful movies of all time is ending and with it an Era.But this is not the last of the actors… Emma, Dan, Rupert or any other of them no. This is the beginning of new adventures for us as their fans and for them as people and actors.
May we never forget what Harry Potter means to us and to the world and let’s hope that J.K Rowling will write another book?! Why not. She said she might!
So let’s hope for the best and let’s hope that they will get together someday to create another life changing series or movie!
